Dr. Marshall has provided applied behavior analysis (ABA) informed services for children and adults with developmental disabilities in a variety of settings for more than 20 years. She is a licensed behavior analyst in Maryland and Virginia, and a doctoral-level board certified behavior analyst (BCBA-D). She currently works as the clinical director at SPARKS, while serving as an assistant professor at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in Washington, D.C. Moreover, Dr. Marshall completed her doctorate at The Florida Institute of Technology, in addition to a postdoctoral fellowship at The Kennedy Krieger Institute & Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in the Neurobehavioral Unit.
Dr. Marshall's professional interests include organizational behavior management in human service settings, the treatment of language deficits informed by B.F. Skinner’s analysis of verbal behavior, and antecedent strategies to promote self-management. She has published in the Journal of Organizational Behavior Management and The Analysis of Verbal Behavior. When not at work, Dr. Marshall enjoys spending time with her two boys and husband—as a family, they spend as much time as possible outdoors.
